Ted Harrison

VP of Utility Design

Appointed Vice President of Utility Design Services in 2020, Ted Harrison leads the combined strengths of the engineering and design services teams for utilities and telecoms at Planview USL.  A highly regarded and trusted leader in the industry, Ted oversees the daily operations of the engineering and design teams that support some of the largest utility and broadband customers in North America.

An esteemed professional, Ted brings over 30 years of engineering and turnkey design-build expertise to Planview USL. Prior to joining Planview USL, Ted has held various executive leadership roles at Telecon, Systems 2, MasTec and Shaw. Ted is a graduate of Civil Engineering Technology from Seneca College.

Rob McKay

VP of Infrastructure & SUE

As Vice President of Infrastructure and Subsurface Utility Engineering, Rob McKay is responsible for the management and delivery of Planview USL’s critical utility infrastructure engineering services.  Rob has consistently built and developed high performing teams that manage the complexities of these services with ease.  A proven leader in the industry, Rob has instilled operational disciplines that deliver results, while exceeding customer expectations.

Rob brings over 25 years of telecom and utility expertise to Planview USL from Bell Canada in various capacities from contract and project management to network expansion and operations.  Rob is a born mentor who inspires the best from his teams every day.  Rob holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration Management from Laurentian University.

Victoria Yusfin

Director of Corporate Affairs

As Director of Corporate Affairs, Victoria Yusfin is one of the first employees hired at Planview USL.  A trusted advisor to the organization in finance, operations and governance, Victoria has continuously led and supported Planview USL throughout our growth evolution.  Responsible for overseeing the finance and administration teams at Planview USL, Victoria provides leadership and guidance on all regulatory and compliance matters.

Victoria has held numerous roles in the telecommunications and utility sectors spanning her 20+ year career.  After attending The University of Toronto for Computer Science, Victoria pursued her CGA and HRCP at Seneca College.  Victoria managed the development and implementation of the Planview USL resource planning system that provides best-in-class project management to our customers today.

Bob Irwin

President

As President and a founder of Planview Utility Services, Bob Irwin has contributed significantly to the evolution and expansion of utility and telecommunications’ networks across North America.  Bob leads and sets the operational strategy that delivers the design of world class communications and utility networks that so many of us rely on each day.  

Prior to founding Planview USL in 2012, Bob was Principal at Plantec Consulting Engineers and held a VP of Engineering role at Prestige Telecom where he secured several national service contracts.  For the past 30+ years, Bob has consistently delivered high demand technical services to the utility and telecommunications’ sectors, resulting in the continued success of our customers.

Bob is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Lambton College and has augmented his knowledge of utility networks with several educational programs throughout his career. 

Kris Philpott

Senior Vice President

As Senior Vice President and co-founder of Planview USL, Kris Philpott leads the organizational strategy on geospatial solutions, innovation and culture.  Kris oversees platform creation and delivery within our GIS team and our ‘as-a-service’ portfolio.  Kris has been instrumental in advancing Planview’s digital solutions from product development and our go-to-market strategy.  

An industry expert who leads and inspires multidisciplinary teams, Kris is a fearless mentor.  A 20+ year veteran in the GIS field, Kris is an industry advisor to the utility, telecom and government sectors. Kris is a long standing member of the Ontario Association of Certified Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and a graduate of the Electrical Engineering Technology program at Georgian College.
